Shanghai is the starting point of this tour, visiting the waterfront Bund, as well as the fashionable Nanjing Road. Heading toward Mt. Huangshan, take a cable car ride up to the midway point of Mt. Huangshan, extolled for its "Four Ultimate Beauties." Visit the world heritage site Hongcun, its beautiful sceneries appeared in "Crunching Tiger, Hidden Dragon," and Jingdezhen, a 1700-year-old capital of porcelain making industry. Take a cruise down the Yangtze River and view the majestic Three Gorges.

Day 3Shanghai

Start our city tour at the Nanjing Road, ground zero for shoppers and entertainment seekers. Move on to the splendid City God Temple Bazaar, and then continue on to the famous waterfront Bund, a mile long stretch along the Huangpu River. After lunch, visit the world famous Shanghai Museum (No audio service).

Day 4Shanghai - Huangshan

Morning visit to Zhujiajiao, a well-known water town with a history of more than 1700 years. Then board a flight to Mt. Huangshan and visit the famed Tunxi Ancient Street upon arrival. Overnight at Tunxi, an ancient town located at the foot of Mt. Huangshan.

Day 5Huangshan

A cable car ride takes you up to the midway of Mt. Huangshan for a sightseeing tour of the area. Mt. Huangshan is extolled for its "Four Ultimate Beauties" - unusual rock formations, pine trees, sea of clouds and hot springs.

Day 6Huangshan

Known in China as "The Number One Mountain Under Heaven", Mt. Huangshan was listed by UNESCO as an official World Cultural Heritage Site in 1990. This morning we get up early to enjoy the fantastic view of sunrise amidst a sea of clouds in the summits. Descend the mountain later in the afternoon. For dinner, a Local Specialty Cuisine will be served.

Day 7Huangshan - Hongcun - Jingdezhen

Depart Huangshan for Hongcun, an ancient traditional village with well preserved paved streets, architecture, decorations, and houses with comprehensive water systems. Continue to Jingdezhen, a 1,700-year-old capital of porcelain making industry. The city tour features visits to the Porcelain Museum and the Ceramic Factory. This evening we enjoy the Jiangxi local specialty cuisine for dinner.

Day 8Jingdezhen - Jiujiang - Wuhan

Arrive in Jiujiang, an ancient city of rice and tea established by the emperor Qin Shi Huang, where we have a brief tour of Xunyanglou Pagoda. Continue to Wuhan. Upon arrival we explore the popular Yellow Crane Tower and the famous Bells Museum. Tonight, enjoy the Fish Dinner Feast.

Day 9Wuhan to Yangtze River Cruise

Depart Wuhan for Yichang, the site where our ship is docked and awaiting us. Upon our arrival at Yichang, we board our Victoria Cruise ship. We set sail in the evening for our exciting Yangtze River adventure. Nearly 4000 miles long, the mighty Yangtze River is the world's third longest river and flows eastward into the East China Sea.

Day 10Yangtze River Cruise

Spend the morning viewing the construction of the Three Gorges Dam, the largest in the world. Later sail through the Three Gorges ship locks. Sail through Xiling Gorge, the longest (41 miles), and the deepest of the Three Gorges.

Day 11Yangtze River Cruise

Depending on the river conditions, our shore excursion is either along the Goddess Stream or Shennong Stream to explore Small Gorges. Board smaller vessels to access this tributary of the Yangtze. Return to the ship and enjoy as the vessel passes through the narrow meandering passages of the Wu Gorge and Qutang Gorge.

Day 12Yangtze River Cruise

Today, our shore excursion will take us to either Shibaozhai or the "Ghost City" Fengdu, depending on river conditions. In Shibaozhai, time is taken to see its famous 12-story tall wooden pagoda. . Descend the mountain and return back to our cruise ship as it continues the Yangtze.

Day 13Yangtze River - Chongqing - Beijing

Our Yangtze River Cruise comes to an end with the arrival at Chongqing. Disembark the cruise, a brief city tour takes us to Eling Park and the Chongqing Zoo for the adorable panda bears. For lunch we enjoy a local Spicy Hot Pot Cuisine. Later, leave for Beijing by air and upon arrival transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is free at leisure.

General Reservations Terms & Conditions

Reservations:
  1. A $100/person nonrefundable deposit is due within 7 days of tour confirmation. If the reservation date is less than 30days prior to the tour departure date, full payment is due at time of reservation. Deposits may be made by check or cash. Credit card deposits will incur a 4% service fee.

Cancellations: All cancellations must be by written notice via email, fax or post sent directly to Signature Travel & Tours. Cancellation fees apply. Please refer to each individual tour's terms and conditions for cancellation fee schedule.

Tour Fare Inclusions

  1. Transportation by air-conditioned motor-coach
  2. Hotel accommodations for trips lasting more than 1 day. Price is based on two adults sharing one room, double occupancy.
  3. Sightseeing excursions and entrance fees as specified in the itinerary. Exclusions may apply. Please refer to the individual tour's Terms and Conditions for inclusions and exclusions.
  4. Escorted tours are conducted in Mandarin and/or English by professional tour guides. Refer to each individual tour for language specifications.
  5. Meals are included only where indicated in the tour itinerary. All other meals are not included.

Tour Fare Exclusions

  1. Airfare is not included in any of the tour prices unless otherwise indicated or specified. It is the responsibility of the traveler to arrive at the starting point of the tour.
  2. Meals not indicated in the itinerary.
  3. Any optional tour or activity not indicated in the itinerary.
  4. Transportation fee to/from your home town to/from the airport.
  5. Gratuity for tour guides, drivers, bellman, maid, etc.

General Conditions and Responsibility

  1. Tour Cancellation: Signature Travel & Tours reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to the departure of the tour, Signature Travel & Tours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour. Signature Travel & Tours will try to re-book the same or similar tour, subject to availability.
  2. Seat Rotation: All seat in coach tours will have seats rotated daily by the tour guide and particular seats cannot be booked.
  3. Itinerary variations: Signature Travel & Tours constantly strives to improve its tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary, we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels.
  4. Passport & Visas: Please ensure you have the proper documents for travel and to verify with the consulate of the country you are traveling to prior to your trip.
  5. Signature Travel & Tours reserves the right to decline, to accept or retain any person as a tour participant should such person's mental or physical health impede the operation of the tour or the rights of other tour participants.
  6. Our tour guides are not professionally trained in supplementing first aid or assisting with the disabled. Signature Travel & Tours is not in the position of providing any kind of special attention to clients with special needs. Should someone with special needs wish to join a tour, they must provide for their own care-taker.
  7. It is strongly recommended that infants under two years old join in any long distance tours.
  8. By participating in this tour, you agree to the terms and conditions set forth by Signature Travel & Tours and may not be altered.
Passports & Visas It is the responsibility of the Traveler to have a valid passport, with a validity of at least six (6) months after your tour end date. Your travel consultant or Signature Travel & Tours can assist you in obtaining the necessary application forms to obtain your passport. Non-US citizens must consult with the appropriate consulates to determine if any additional visas are required. It is suggested that all travelers, regardless of the passport they hold, check with the appropriate consulates of the countries being visited to determine if any visas are required. Should you wish for Signature Travel & Tours to process your China visa, the fee is $170USD for a one year, multiple entry visa for US citizens, valid from the issue date and good for a stay of up to 30 days in China per visit. The processing time is 10 working days. You must submit your original passport, one (2x2) color photo with a white background, and a completed China visa application to our office. The visa fee is non-refundable for any reason and is subject to change without prior notice. If you require expedited return service, please enclose an additional $25 to your total deposit and it will be sent back immediately upon return from the consulate. If you are applying for your own China visa, a copy of your passport should be sent to Signature Travel & Tours along with a copy of your China visa. All documents and air tickets will be issued under your passport name. Signature Travel & Tours is not responsible should you be denied a visa or entrance for any reason into a foreign country, regardless if you have a valid passport and visa, in which case, the visa fee and land reservations will not be refunded.
